The beautiful Port Stephens Peninsula is located just over 200 kilometres (a 2.5 hour drive) north of Sydney and 50 kilometres (45 minutes drive) north of Newcastle. Positioned right on the north coast, Port Stephens has some of the most pristine beaches the coast has to offer with beautiful marine life and plenty of aquatic activities to offer, water craft can be hired, or you may bring your own as we have plenty of local launching facilities.
Fishing is also very popular around the bay; weather you drop a line in from a beach, jetty or boat, or take deep water fishing charter or you can visit one of our fine restaurants and experience some delicious seafood for all those seafood lovers.
The peninsula offers many pristine beaches to relax at or build some sandcastles, having both bay beaches and surf beaches to choose from great for the surfers & swimmers.
There are many more activities Port Stephens has to offer such as whale & dolphin cruises to see those delightful creatures and the bays beautiful harbour, islands and shorelines, alternatively you could sit on one of the sandy beaches and take in the sights from the shoreline while soaking up the sun.
